@donho No! If you turn off the dark theme, the problem disappears. May be problen in 125% scaling in windows setings?

Dark Mode Bug: You cannot tell what you have highlighted in the Search Results window. This appears to be because the whole line gets highlighted as the same color as the “I clicked and dragged my mouse to select 1 word from this line” color

Downloaded the portable to test, seems to have fixed this issue for me (not much testing though).

@Ashfaaq18 I just saw your fix. It’s a good fix, thank you for the coding effort. However, the v8.1.6 is ready to go, and Notepad++ launch via command line is the rare case comparing to the launch via the shortcut. So this bug-fix will be integrated surely, but in the future release (v8.1.7).
